Groovescooter’s  One Deck DJs Sessions  are back! The series curated by Groovescooter’s Georgie Zuzak at the Kings Cross Whisper Club many years ago, returns with one of Australia’s most original musicians and the backbone of Brisbane cult outfit, The Go-Betweens. The original idea for our One Deck DJ Sessions was to have well-known folks playing us a favourite album of theirs and talking a bit about why it’s significant for them. The series continues now after a break with LINDY MORRISON OAM – the honest, charming and one-of-a-kind  Go-Betweens, Xero and Cleopatra Wong drummer. Apart from being a musician, Morrison has also been involved in radical theatre and politics, served as a  PPCA  board member, been the  subject for the Archibalds portrait and lovably told-it-how-she-sees it when it comes when women in the music industry. For this night, Lindy will be selecting one of her all time favourite records, telling us stories behind her selection and putting the record on for what’s sure to be an entertaining listening session.
